The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Yesterday, Rowyn and I talked about caterpillars and butterflies.

We read books about them.

We drew them.

We ate a lunch with holes.

We went looking for them outside.

After walking through what seemed to be attack of the locusts, man they're terrible right now, we found a sulphur butterfly.

A Banded Woolly Bear Caterpillar

Rowyn told me she found a caterpillar the same color as Booth.
I think it's a Muslin Moth Caterpillar.

Booth stopped for a drink.

And a brief swim.

Rowyn played follow Booth's wet paw prints on the way home.

It was a neat experience to stop and look at everything going on in the world around us.  Things we normally run by, walk by, drive by, and don't stop to actually look at.

Have a great weekend!
