Preschool 2010

Today was Camdyn's first day of preschool...she was beyond excited!

Someone else had to get in on the action.

The minute the kids were all off to school, Rowyn took the opportunity to steal all the Silly Bandz she could find.

First Day 2010

The first day of school for our 2nd and 3rd grader.

Riley and her bff, Anna...they're in class together this year and are SO excited!

Just another normal day...

The other night, Clyde and I were in the kitchen making dinner, while the youngest two girls were out playing in the sandbox. Imagine Clyde's surprise when he went to check the grill...there in the yard was his two-year-old nekid from head to toe, diaper and clothes strewn all over the yard. Apparently, after getting some sand in her diaper, she decided she'd have Camdyn hose her down.

Since our neighbors probably already think we're the most dysfunctional family in the hood, Clyde took over the hosing to move things a long a little quicker.

If they didn't already think we're off our rocker, I'm sure this scene was enough to convince them.

A Visit With Friends

The Erb's came to visit us this past weekend. It was loud, it was chaotic, but is was also really fun! The kids had a great time, only a few face off's with a certain two-year-old and soon-to-be two-year-old.

And congrats again to Leslie and Kolin and family whom are expecting baby number six...I think from the looks of the couch, it had better be a boy to even things out! ;)

The Empty Bed

We always check on the kids before we go to bed, usually around 11:00ish. You can imagine my surprise when I opened Rowyn's door and found her bed empty and her nowhere in sight. There was evidence in her bed that she'd been very busy, what with a video game, books, blankets, and a telephone. Then I heard a sound...coming from her closet.

The door was cracked enough that I could make out a shape, so I listened. I heard talking, "Night, night, Dora."
**pretend crying**
"Mommy, Mommy!"
**pretend crying**
"No, hate bed!"

So, I opened the door to find her playing with the dollhouse...and from what I gathered, Dora's mom was having just as much problem getting Dora to sleep, as we were with Rowyn.

Stinker!
