Rainbow Bridge

There was a rainbow after a storm the other day. It made me think of Hutch. Our veterinarian sent us a sympathy card with a poem called The Rainbow Bridge. There is also a website for memorials for your pet. Hutch spent a lot of time at the vet over the course of his life and Dr. Stark has taken care of him all 14 years. He saw us through Parvo virus, a broken leg, congenital cataracts, and all the other issues Hutch persevered through. Dr. Stark never made it a secret that Siberian Huskies were his least favorite breed. That said, he always liked Hutch. In the sympathy card, he added a little note:

I am so sorry about your loss of Hutch. What a magnificent Husky! He restored my faith in the breed and that they could be sweethearts!

Thank you Dr. Stark, you were able to see what we always knew about Sir Hutchinson Braveheart.

Miss and love you, Hutch boy. ♥

Networking

Yesterday I discovered the Wee One can climb onto the big chairs now and that she has a passion for networking, like her mother. I completely caught her off guard, hence the 'Oh shit!' look.

Also, if you aren't already, send some thoughts and prayers for Stellan.

Too Cool for School

I ♥ Morgan & Milo shoes and now Target has a knock-off that's not only cute, but at $12.99, a steal! I just wish they came in sizes bigger than toddler.

A New Spin

Today was Rowyn's 12 month well child appointment. She is my peanut at 20lbs, 6 oz and 30 1/4". She had 4 shots today and was supposed to have her lead level checked as well, thankfully her pediatrician put it off until 18 months, she said she's been poked enough lately. True enough!

Her pediatrician gave me the final lab report that came from the State Hygienic Laboratory, she said I might want it for her baby book. The interesting spin was the results...she did not have E. Coli. The labs detected Shiga toxin 2, but e. coli was not found. She was bewildered, as was I. The lab report status is final, which means it will not be sent to the CDC for additional testing to find out exactly what caused the Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome. So there it is, crazy, huh?!

Lego Star Wars...a different perspective

While Googling Lego Star Wars ideas for Cooper's party, I came across THESE and not only are they amazing pictures, but they had me laughing my ass off, as well! Obviously he is a talented photographer with an awesome sense of humor! Cooper would cover his entire bedroom wall with prints if he could!

Mauston

Every Fourth of July weekend, my sister Caitlin, her boyfriend Ryan, and their friends, go to Mauston, Wisconsin to party and camp. This time was no different...well, maybe a little different. This time they planned a white trash wedding, apparently inspired by some of the locals who actually attended the soiree. Caitlin was the pregnant tween (too old for toys, too young for boys), of course since she was knocked up, guess the latter isn't true. We dubbed her Crystal. Crystal Meth.

The bride and groom

The cake

Crystal Meth, her Boone's wine, and her baby daddy?

The kin...and town folk?

The damage. Now that's a weddin'!

Goose

Clyde and my sister, Meghan, took the older three kids to the fireworks tonight. On my way out of work, I got a text from my sister:

We're in line for the bathroom and Lump just goosed the ladies butt in front of us. I can't blame her, it was a HUGE ass.

Apparently, she was checking to see if it was real.
