Swimming 2012

Summer swim lessons have started.
We're at a different pool this year, because I waited too long to sign them up.
So, we have a little longer drive...but a change of scenery isn't bad.

Rowyn's group started off with ring-around-the-rosey to get everyone warmed up.

Camdyn says she has a friend from soccer in her group, so she's excited.

Riley picked her suit out this year.
She wanted a bikini top and boy shorts.
Last year, she wouldn't dare let her midriff show.
This growing up thing isn't easy on parents, is it?

Those feet need some chlorine.  
He left his sandals with me (brand new sandals) and I almost died when I got a whiff of them.
How can his feet smell so rotten...he just showered last night.
Boy feet stink.

Their first day went well, except for the tantrum Rowyn threw when I told her it was time to go. 
Ugh.


Do your kids play games in the car?
Mine play a game where you get points for certain vehicles.


They yell score when they see a yellow car.
Jule when they see the Jule passenger bus.
Cherry Berry for red.
Yo-So Sweet for green.
Barney for purple.


This usually starts off well, but generally ends in a fight.  
So, half the drive home was spent screaming about who called what first.
Drives me crazy.
